FAQ – Litcharm Custom Leather Charms
1. What leather do you use for your custom bag charms?
We primarily use 3–4oz vegetable-tanned leather and oil-waxed leather.
Other leather options are also available:
- Chrome-tanned leather – Lower cost, stable color, suitable for bulk fashion styles
- Bridle leather / Italian saddle leather – Thicker, more durable, ideal for premium custom collections
However, 3–4oz vegetable-tanned and oil-waxed leather remain the most popular choices due to their excellent shaping ability and vintage aesthetic.
2. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
- Ready-made styles: MOQ 1 piece
- Simple custom styles: MOQ 300 pieces
- Special custom designs: MOQ 500 pieces
3. What is the production lead time? Can you guarantee on-time shipment?
- Regular styles: 10–15 days
- Custom styles: 20–30 days
During peak seasons, priority is given to long-term clients. If delays occur, we will notify you at least 3 days in advance.
4. Do you support customization (e.g., adding logo or changing colors)?
Yes, we fully support customization.
- Free simple logo printing/embossing for orders over 300 pieces
- 20 standard color options available
- Custom colors available at an additional $5 per piece
Sample production time: 8–12 days after design confirmation
5. What if there is a quality issue? What is your return & exchange policy?
- Returns or exchanges can be requested within 7 days after receipt
- Shipping costs for quality issues will be covered by us
- For non-quality issues, round-trip shipping is the buyer’s responsibility
- If the damage rate exceeds 3%, we will provide free replacements
6. Do you provide samples? What are the sample costs and lead time?
Yes, samples are available.
- Custom sample cost: $30–$50 per piece
- Sample lead time: 8–12 days
7. What about the hardware quality? Will it rust?
We use 201 or 304 stainless steel hardware with anti-rust treatment.
Under normal use, it will not rust for at least one year.
8. What are your payment terms? Do you offer credit terms?
- New customers: Full payment required
- Standard terms: 30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment
- Returning customers (after 3 successful orders): 30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment
9. Shipping methods and delivery time
- Express shipping (UPS / FedEx): 4–6 days
- Economy small parcel service: 12–18 days
- DDP service available in selected regions
